The Iowa Eviction Notice is formally called a "Notice to Cure or Quit." It is a requirement that this form be given to your tenant prior to an eviction case being filed. A landlord in Iowa must give the tenant a 3 Day Notice in the case of non-payment of rent, staying past the lease, or for creating a danger. A landlord must give the tenant a 7 Day Notice in the case of lease violations. After receiving this 3 Day Notice or 7 Day Notice, most tenants either comply with your demand, or move out.
